Our Open Horse bit is an excellent bit for that finished horse, with a balanced feel and weight.
Overall length is 6” with a 3.5” purchase and 2.5” shank.
This bit gives a nice balanced reaction, and it has excellent weight.
If you want a different feel, you can flip this bit to have a 2.5” purchase and a 3.5” shank that will give you a little quicker reaction.
Our signature comfort shape snaffle is not offensive as a straight mouthpiece can be and not aggressive on the bars of the mouth, and is either copper wrapped or has copper inlay (depending on style) for a more pleasant mouth feel for your horse.
These bits are not sold with a curb. We recommend trying the Signature Top Hand curb for a curb that spreads the pressure and reduces the pinch with a rubber wrap and wide links.
